My version of the weekender bag

I love the overall shape of the Amy Butler Weekender bag, but I wanted to tweak the design a bit to make it more functional.

- added D-rings and an elastic side pocket
- extended the shoulder straps to serve also as pocket dividers
- added additional zippers on one seam so it will open as a suitcase
- added a vinyl bottom

For more excessive details and photos, please visit my blog here.

(I'm trying to post this from Flickr -- my first time -- so I hope it works!)

Hey Girl, I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now, and I recently started a blog of my own. I added a link to your page, and I was just making sure it was fine with you.

Thanks!
